Welcome to Possum Kingdom State Park in Caddo, Texas. This park was first established in 1950 and is the youngest of the Texas State Parks to have had it's facilities constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and is about a one hour drive from the metropolis of Dallas/Fort Worth. The park was devastated by fire in 2011 but recovery effors are underway.

All of the park's cabins have electricity and AC and 40 of the campsites have electricity and water. To contact the office please call 940-549-1803.
