Welcome to Quanah Parker Park located on the banks of the West Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Texas. This park was first established in 1997 and boasts a half basketball court, a picnic shelter, and a wide open multipurpose field that is good for kite-flying on windy days.
Fort Worth Park Ordinances
*The following are all prohibited in any City of Forth Worth recreation area; littering, harming plants or animals, defacing public property, boisterous behavior.
*The following all require special permits; advertising, sales, solicitations.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, consumption of alcoholic beverages, bicycles, roller-blades.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 5:30 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.
*Flying of kites in areas close to power lines is prohibited and dangerous.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
