Welcome to Houston's beautiful Dwight D. Eisenhower Park, first established in 1995 and named for the 34th President of the United States, Dwight David Eisenhower who showed great military leadership in World War II before becoming President. This park is located at the very bottom of Lake Houston and has some awesome hiking trails and bird-watching opportunities.
When visiting any park in Harris County Texas please be respectful of the rules.
*For your safety and for the safety of other people and animals all glass objects are prohibited.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is only allowed under special conditions. For more information please or to ask general questions or reserve a facility call 281-496-2177.
*All dogs must be leashed, no longer than 6 feet.
*The following activities require special permit from the park's director; sales, posting of ads, events such as rock concerts, political campaigns, or any event involving amplified sound.
*The following activities must be done in designated areas; golfing, flying remote control aircraft, picnic fires.
*Only law enforcement officers and those with concealed weapons permits may carry weapons. However at all sporting events weapons are prohibited.
*Please respect all plants and animals in the parks.
*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
