Long Park is a nice beautiful park in Lubbock, Texas. It has a picnic area and a fishing area. With the proper permits one can operate a remote controlled watercraft on this pond.

*All parks open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*The following are prohibited in all city parks; swimming, golfing, overnight camping, horseback riding, metal detecting, alcoholic beverages, glass containers.
*Please respect all park property including buildings, athletic facilities, benches, trees, bushes, etc.
*Official practice on all athletic fields requires prior reservation.
*All fishermen must have Texas State fishing license.
*No dumping or littering. Please help keep the parks clean by disposing of all trash in proper containers.
*Please do not remove or harm any plants or animals in the parks.
*All burning is restricted to picnic grills.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
