Welcome to Village Creek State Park located on the banks of Village Creek in Lumberton, Texas. Village Creek itself is one of the few rivers in the State of Texas that does not have any dams. This park is well known for it's fantastic canoeing and there are rentals nearby. The state first purchased the land in 1979 but it was not until a decade and a half later in the Spring of 1994 that the park first opened. Some of the resident wildlife include alligators, blue herons, white-tailed deer, and bobcats.

25 of the campsites have electricity and water. To contact the office please call 409-755-7322.
