Welcome to the beautiful Sea Rim State Park located on the Texas Gulf Coast near McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge and the Louisiana State Line. This park helps protect thousands of acres of valuable wetlands. The Gambusia Nature Trail is a boardwalk that goes through the swamp so one can keep their feet dry.

Park History: Thousands of years ago sea levels were lower and the first Native Americans to inhabit the region lived on land that is now the ocean floor. Every once in a while artifacts wash up to be found. The park was first established in 1977.

Wildlife: Some of the wild animals that call this place home include ghost crabs, meadowlarks, coyotes, river otters, and American alligators. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.

15 of the campsites have electricity and water. To contact the office please call 409-971-2559.
