Welcome to the wonderful and active Meyer Park in Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston. Many local athletic leagues use the softball fields and soccer fields (10 of which are lighted). The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking. To reserve the picnic shelter or one of the other facilities please call 281-353-4596. The beautiful Gourley Nature Trail is named after the husband and wife who helped make it possible and it is well worth exploring.

When visiting any park in Harris County Texas please be respectful of the rules.

*All burning and fires are restricted to picnic grills.

*For your safety and for the safety of other people and animals all glass objects are prohibited.

*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is only allowed under special conditions. For more information please call 281-496-2177. 

*All dogs must be leashed, no longer than 6 feet.

*The following activities require special permit from the park's director; sales, posting of ads, events such as rock concerts, political campaigns, or any event involving amplified sound.

*The following activities must be done in designated areas; golfing, flying remote control aircraft.

*Only law enforcement officers and those with concealed weapons permits may carry weapons. However at all sporting events weapons are prohibited.

*Please respect all plants and animals in the parks.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Texas traffic laws.
