Welcome to Rotary Glen and Donner Trail Park located at the mouth of Emigration Canyon in Salt Lake City, Utah. This park was first established in 1953 and is diverse in human history from Native Americans, to explorers, to the Donner-Reed Party, and of course to Mormon Pioneers. The Canyon eventually became known as a shortcut to California.

Salt Lake City Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted most parks close between 10-11 p.m. and open at 5 a.m.

*The following require special permits; sales, solicitations, advertising, overnight camping, organized assembly.

*The following are prohibited; harrassing wildlife, alcoholic beverages, gambling, fireworks, weapons, hunting, fishing, littering, defacing public property.

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than six feet.

*Please use all athletic facilities for their designated purpose.

*All children ages 8 and up must use restrooms of their designated sex.
