Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Welcome to Timpanogos Cave National Monument nestled high in the Wasatch Mountains near American Fork Utah. While coming here the visitor can hike to the cave entrance gaining over 1,160 feet in elevation and view the caves magnificent anthodites and helictites. The hike also gives the visitor an awesome view of American Fork Canyon.

 

Flora and Fauna: Timpanogos Cave National Monument helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include scrub oaks, big tooth maples, aspens, and Mexican cliffroses. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include mountain goats, black bears, mountain lions, moose, wrens, Peregrine falcons, and golden eagles. Please treat their home with respect.

 

For the human visitor this great monument boasts scenic hiking trails. Come on out and explore!
