Welcome to Steinaker State Park located on the shores of the Steinaker Reservoir near Vernal, Utah. 

Park History: The Steinaker Reservoir was one of the first to be established in the Central Utah Project. The reservoir is filled with runoff water channeled from nearby Ashley Creek. The park and lake are named for John Steinaker, a member of the pioneer ranching family. Steinaker State Park opened in 1964. 

For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts a lake stocked with rainbow trout and largemouth bass, numerous aquatic opportunities, and so much more. Come on out and have fun.
