Welcome to the beautiful Greenbrier Park located on the banks of Meadow Creek in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Greenbrier Corporation, the land's previous owner, generously donated this land to the City of Charlottesville in 1965 and today it helps protect a forest of sycamore trees and a valuable Virginia Piedmont region wetland. Some of the local school children use this parks trail to walk to school. The park also protects wildlife habitat for blue herons, turtles, raccoons, owls, and many others. This park was RecPlanet place of the day on December 5, 2014.
