Lee Park is a small piece of land in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia that, like many other parks in the city, was donated by Paul McIntire. The park is named for Civil War General Robert E. Lee of whom there is a statue in the park that was sculpted by an artist named Leo Lentelli. Many people come out to Lee Park for a game of chess or a picnic lunch.
