Welcome to McIntire Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is one of the most scenic and popular parks in Charlottesville and was named for it's previous owner Paul McIntire, who was a large land owner in early Charlottesville History. Today this park has everything from scenic views of the Appalachian Mountains to the west, a nine hole golf course, tennis courts, a skate park, hiking trails, and much more! All of the athletic facilities except for the golf course are lighted so people can play at night.
