Welcome to Grayson Highlands State Park located on the edge of the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area in the Jefferson National Forest.

Park History: This park was originally named Mount Rogers State Park and was established in 1965 after a very supportive community raised money to purchase the land. Many sections of the park were named for early settlers including Lee Massey and Wilburn Waters. Today the park boasts over 10 miles of stream for trout fishing and over 11 miles of multi-purpose trails. 32 of the park's campsites have electricity and water. Come on out and explore!
