Welcome to the beautiful Canoe Run Park located on the banks of the James River in Richmond, Virginia. This park has an exercise trail, a tot lot for small children, and a multipurpose athletic field suitable for touch football, soccer, tossing the frisbee, and many other things. This park was RecPlanet place of the day on December 27, 2014.
When visiting any park in Richmond, Virginia it is important to know the rules.
*All parks are open from dawn until dusk unless otherwise posted.
*The following are all prohibited; alcoholic beverages, glass containers, archery, golfing.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. And with the exception of service animals dogs are only allowed at the following parks; Byrd Park, Chimborazoo Dog Park, Barker Field Dog Park, Forest Hill Park.
*All fires are restricted to fire pits and picnic grills.
*Please respect all park property including trees, bushes, benches, athletic amenities, etc.
*The following require special permits, stages, amplified sound, tents, conducting of sales, etc.
