Elkhardt Playground is an active sports park in Richmond, Virginia. Since it is located on the campus of a middle school, please use only when the school is not using it.

When visiting any park in Richmond, Virginia it is important to know the rules. 

*All parks are open from dawn until dusk unless otherwise posted.

*The following are all prohibited, alcohol, archery, defacing public property, glass objects, golfing, harming wildlife, littering.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed. And with the exception of service animals dogs are only allowed at the following parks; Byrd Park, Chimborazoo Dog Park, Barker Field Dog Park, Forest Hill Park.

*All fires are restricted to fire pits and picnic grills.

*The following require special permits, amplified sound, sales, stages, tents.

Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Virginia, and United States statutes. Be safe and have a good time.
