Welcome to Staunton River Battlefield State Park, a place where the Confederate Army once held off 5,000 Union soldiers in the Civil War. This park offers a lot of history as well as hiking and biking trials. There are no overnight facilities but there is lodging available in the nearby towns. Come on out and enjoy yourselves!
