Welcome to Vermont's Jamaica State Park located on the banks of the West River. First established in 1969, Jamaica State Park was previously the site of working farms, a sawmill, and even a branch of the West River Railroad that was wiped out by a flood in 1927. The Ball Mountain Dam releases a large amount of water in late April and late September making Jamaica State Park a popular destination for canoests and kayakers from throughout New England. Some of the park's other amenities include over 40 campsites (SHOWERS AVAILABLE), hiking trails, and much more. Come on out and have a blast!
