Welcome to what is considered to be Vermont's most remote State Park, the magnificent Maidstone State Park located in the Green Mountains not too far from the border with New Hampshire. This land first became a state park in 1938 and many of it's facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Fishing: Maidstone Lake was carved out by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age 12,000 years ago. Today it offers some excellent trout and salmon fishing. Come out and cast a line.

Picnicking: The picnic shelter has a grill and a 35 person capacity. Come out and bring some meats for cooking and bring some friends along.

Camping: Maidstone State Park boasts 34 campsites for tents and RV's. There are restrooms and hot showers not far away. Come out and stay a few nights.

To contact the office please call 802-676-3930.
