Vermont State Forests
Welcome to Black Turn Brook State Forest in Norton, Vermont not far from the Canadian border. For many years this land was owned by the Federal Government and was known as Earth People's Park. In 1994 it became a state forest.

When visiting any State Park or State Forest in Vermont Please respect the rules.
*The following are prohibited; feeding of wildlife, littering, chainsaws,
*The following require special permits; posting of bills, removal of plants or earth material.
*Glass objects are not allowed in pools or swimming areas.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas, metal detecting, swimming, camping.
*Children aged 14 and under must be supervised by adults.
*All pets must be leashed no longer than 10 feet and waste removed.
