Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park
Welcome to the beautiful Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park located in Bellevue, Washington. This park helps protect a wilderness of wetlands and second growth forests. The Cougar Mountain region has a human history that dates back thousands of years to the first Native Americans as well as miners and loggers in more recent history. In the late 1950's and early 1960's two Nike Missile sites were located within what are today's park boundaries.
Trails: Cougar Mountain boasts many miles of multipurpose trails through it's wilderness. While hiking you may see black bears, raccoons, bobcats, and the occasional cougar of course. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
