Welcome to Squak Mountain State Park located in Issaquah, Washington not too far from downtown Seattle. Squak Mountain State Park was first established in 1972 after the Bullitt family generously donated over 500 acres of land to the State of Washington under the condition that it remain in a state of nature. Additional land purchases were made over the years and the visitor can still see the remains of old logging roads and mine tracks in the park today. Squak Mountain State Park gives wildlife habitat to bears, deer, foxes, rabbits, coyotes, and many others. For the human visitor Squak Mountain State Park boasts nearly 20 miles of multipurpose trails, awesome bird-watching opportunities, and more. Come out and explore!
