Welcome to Seattle's Denny Blaine Park. Though this park may be small in size, the influence of the man for whom it was named was anything but small. Denny Blaine served on the City Park Commission in the first decade of the 20th century and helped implement the Olmstead Plan. He is sometimes referred to as "the father of the Seattle Park system."
