While engaging in aquatic recreation in Florida watch out for Nile Crocodiles
Never smile at a crocodile! So goes the saying, and that is very true, because to them you may look like a meal. I myself have had a few encounters with American alligators and I have never had an issue, but crocs are a whole different animal, especially the ones from Africa, Asia, and Australia. Niles are not as dangerous as the salties but they are still quite aggressive. My cousin Gregg had one hiss at him while he was on a golf course in Africa. Now they are saying that there are a few Nile crocs in Florida so to anybody who goes swimming, water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, or fishing be on the lookout.
