Madison Wisconsin Parks
Welcome to Madison's Mineral Point Park. This is a beautiful open space preserve at just under ten acres in size. It's wide open fields are a great place for kite-flying and one can access this area via it's paved multipurpose recreation trail.
While visiting any City Park in Madison, Wisconsin it is important to obey the rules.
*No dumping or littering. Please place all trash in proper containers and remember to recycle.
*Alcholic beverages are prohibited in the following parks, James Madison Park, Tenney Park, Penn Park, Lake Edge Park, Brittingham Park, and Demetral Park.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.
Rules of Conservation Parks
*When hiking please stay on designated trails.
*The following are all prohibited; picnic fires, animals, hunting, weapons.
*No removal of plants or animals without special permit.
*All Conservation Parks open at 4am and close one hour after dusk.
