Menomonee Falls Wisconsin Parks
Welcome to the site of the original Menomonee Falls, the beautiful Lime Kiln Park located in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin Here the visitor can learn alot about local human history as well as some pre-human history. The park is named for the two lime kilns that once operated on this land. Remains of these places can be seen today and the buildings were placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of Interior. In the parks more natural areas one can find fossils dating from as far back as the Silurian Era, over 450 million years ago. Today this park helps protect the home of many deciduous trees as well as creatures like raccoons, squirrels, turtles, blue herons and many others. For the human visitor there are beautiful views of the river and wakling trails. Come out and explore.

When visiting any park in Menomonee Falls it is important to know the rules.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6am and close at 30 minutes past dusk.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages requires special permit. All alcohol must remain outside of athletic facilities.
*All animals must be leashed (no more than 6 feet) and waste removed.
*No littering. Please place all trash in proper containers.
*Please do not remove any plants or animals.
