Welcome to one of the largest wildlife areas in the State of Wisconsin, the grand and beautiful George W. Mead Wildlife Area. This natural park helps protect the home of over 250 species of birds as well as badgers, bobcats, muskrats, foxes, and deer. For the human visitor there are over 70 miles of multipurpose trails for all seasons, fabulous bird-watching opportunities, and much more!
