Welcome to Copernicus Park located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin just a few blocks west of Interstate 94. This county park is named after the great German Mathematician and Astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who is credited as being the first man to discover that the sun, not the Earth, is the center of the Universe. Doctor Emmett Brown, one of fiction's greatest mad scientists, named one of his dog's Copernicus in the Back to the Future Series. This wonderful twenty acre park has paved multipurpose trails, a full basketball court, a grassy open field, and much more.
