Welcome to the home of the Robin Harvey Field, one of the greatest baseball fields in Elkins, West Virginia, Bluegrass Park. The field is heavily utilized during all seasons except winter by the Elkins Babe Ruth League, Elkins Little League, and American Legion Post 29 . This park was first established in 1935 when the Wees Family generously donated this land to the City of Elkins for recreational purposes. The park also has two lighted basketball courts allowing for play at both night and day, a picnic area, and a playground for the kids. Come out and watch some baseball, maybe even hit a few runs yourself.
This was RecPlanet place of the day on January 13, 2018.
