Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge
Welcome to Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge, an isolated landscape in the Wyoming Wilderness. Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge was established by executive order in 1928 in order to provide breeding ground for native birds and other resident wildlife. Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge consists of four small units, DeWeese Creek, Sage Creek, Goose Bay, and Sweetwater Army. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife services works in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management, Natrona County, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the Wyoming Fish and Game Department.
Wildlife: Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including mule deer, rabbits, and great blue herons. Please treat their home with respect.
