Welcome to the Kaibab National Forest, an oasis of canyons, high mountains, plateaus, and prairies, sprawling across Arizona's Colorado Plateau.

Flora and Fauna: This large forest has an elevation range from as low as 3,000 feet ASL to as high as 10,418 feet ASL, thus providing habitat for a variety of plant and animal species. Some of the plants that grow inside the forest boundaries include spruces, ponderosa pines, and aspens. Some of the wild critters who call this place home include deer, mountain lions, bald eagles, golden eagles, and many others. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors the Kaibab National Forest boasts many miles of multipurpose trails, several bodies of water for fishing, snow skiing at the Elk Ridge Ski Resort, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
