Welcome to Calaveras Big Trees State Park located near Arnold, California. This park's central feature is it's mixed-conifer forest with giant sequoia trees, some of which tower over 320 feet. The park also boasts the Stanislaus River which is great for rainbow trout fishing, meadows, and volcanic rock formations. This park was first established in 1931. 

Camping: Calaveras Big Trees State Park has about 120 campsites. All sites have water, a fire ring, and a toilet. Showers are located nearby. There is a 30 foot limit on mobile homes and trailers. This is bear country so please keep an eye on food and exercise caution.

Wildlife: Calaveras Big Trees State Park is home to many wild animals including bobcats, black bears, porcupines, flying squirrels, and many others. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
