Welcome to California's gorgeous Mount Tamalpais State Park located just north of the San Francisco bay area. At an elevation of 2571 feet above sea level visitors can see marvelous views of the bay area and sometimes even the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There are over 50 miles of multipurpose trails at this park just waiting to be explored. This is one of the oldest and most popular State recreation areas in California, with the first parcels of land being purchased in 1928.

Some of the resident wildlife include red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures, bobcats, and black tailed deer. It is a popular destination for bird-watching.

To contact the park office please call 415-388-2070.
