Welcome to the beautiful Lagunas de Montebello National Park located in the Mexican state of Chiapas. This park was first established in 1959 and is home to two Mayan ruins. The name Lagunas de Montebello translates to Montebello Lakes and there are actually 59 of them. Most of this park is located about 4,900 feet to 5,900 feet above sea level.
