Welcome to Eldorado Canyon State Park located in Boulder County, Colorado. Park History: Established in 1978, Eldorado Canyon State Park is considered a rock-climbers paradise in Boulder's backyard. The park connects to lands owned by the city of Boulder as well as Boulder county.
Flora and Fauna: Eldorado Canyon State Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include Ponderosa pines, Douglas fir pines, Rocky Mountain Junipers, prairie Junegrass, and many others. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include bobcats, black bears, deer, foxes, coyotes, bats, Golden eagles, hawks, and many others. Please treat their home with respect.
Aside from being a climbers paradise, the park also boasts over 19 miles of trails. Come on out and explore!
