The Meadows Park

The Meadows Park is an active urban park in Edinburgh, Scotland. This park was once the site of a loch, which is what they call Lakes in Scotland. The loch provided the city much of it's drinking water over the years until it was drained in the 17th century and it wasn't until a couple of centuries after than in the mid 19th century when full public access was granted. Today this park has tennis courts, a playground, a multipurpose field, and beautiful scenery. Come out and fly a kite on a windy day.
