Welcome to Florida's beautiful Ponce de Leon Springs State Park. The springs are named for the Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon who journeyed through Florida searching for the fountain of youth. And although these springs may not make you young again swimming in them may make you feel young again. The water is 68 degrees farenheit year round and the springs produce about 14 million gallons of water daily. The springs has been a popular swimming hole since the 1920's.
