James Shackelford Memorial Park is a beautiful park located at the confluence of Sandy Creek and the Appalachee River in Auburn, Georgia. This park helps protect the wildlife habitat of snapping turtles, white-tailed deer, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, and many others. For the human visitor there are walking trails through the woods and along the river, three picnic shelters, and a developed campsite. Come out and explore!
