Welcome to Armstrong Park located in Carol Stream, Illinois.

Park History: This is the first park to be established in the City's Park system and was named for Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the surface of the moon on July 20, 1969 and utter the famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

Today this park boasts the Kids World Playground, a picnic area, two sand volleyball courts, six lighted baseball/softball diamonds, a 1.25 mile walking trail, two football fields, one basketball court, a roller hockey rink, an old railroad caboose, and much more. Come on out and have fun.
