Welcome to Chicago's Harold Washington Memorial Park located in Chicago's Hyde Park community. This park was first established in 1907 and was known as East End Park for many years before becoming known as Burnham Park. Finally in 1992 it was renamed in honor of Chicago's first African-American mayor.
