Welcome to Chicago's Jane Addams Memorial Park, located right next to the world famous Navy Pier. This park was first established in the early 20th century and for many years was known as Navy Pier Park. In 1996 the City voted to rename the park in honor of Jane Addams, a noted social reformer and nobel peace price recepient. There was once a sculpture by Louise Bourgeouis in the park in Addams' honor but it was destroyed by vandals.
