Tortuguero National Park

Welcome to Costa Rica's unique and beautiful Tortuguero National Park. This protected wilderness protects 11 different types of ecosystems including rainforest, mangrove forests, swamps, beaches, and lagoons. Some of the resident wildlife include caimans, blue herons, spider monkeys, and peacocks. It rains up to 250 inches a year here. This park can only be accessed via watercraft or aircraft.
