Founded in 1995, Flanders Park was named for the family of Frederick Walter Flanders. Five generations of Flanders family members have served as leaders in the Longmont business and civic community. Walter Flanders himself, served as mayor of Longmont from 1927-1928 after he unseated the mayor who was supported by the Ku Klux Klan. The park offers spectacular views of McIntosh Lake and the Rocky Mountains and the picnic and playground areas can be reserved. The picnic area has grills.

To reserve a facility please call 303-651-8446.
