Contest rules are as follows.
- No children allowed in the photos.
- Keep all photos recreational: people doing recreational activities, or photos taken in a public park or other public land.
- No public nudity.
- Respect all copyright laws: enter only photos you took yourself.
As long as you respect these rules, you are fine.
How the contest works
To enter a photo you must be a registered and logged in member. Anyone can vote, member or not, with one to five stars, and one vote per IP address per picture. The first photo to reach the star total set for the contest wins the photo contest prize. The voter whose vote is the winning number wins the voting contest: they are shown a winning code at once and send it through the contact page to receive the prize. Entries show once an editor has approved them. Every vote is recorded with the IP address it came from, to keep the count fair.
Photos of a park
Members can also add a photo to any park’s page from its “Add a photo” button. Those photos show on the park’s page once approved, and can be entered in the contest at the same time.
