Welcome to Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve located in Redwood City, California. Many people come to this beautiful preserve for it's spring wildflowers, views of the San Francisco Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains and over 10 miles of multipurpose trails. The Ridge got it's name for a Russian immigrant who operated a dairy farm here for three decades, Mr. Paskey. The park was first established in 1978. The grassy hilltops are great places for kite-flying on windy days.
