Welcome to Anchorage's beautiful Earthquake Park located on the bay. This park was created in memory of those who lost their lives in the Good Friday Earthquake of 1964 which shook the City of Anchorage and killed over 100 people. This was the worst earthquake in U.S. History with a magnitude of 9.2. Today this seaside park offers hiking trails for the visitor and a great view of the skyline of the City of Anchorage. Come out and see!
