Welcome to Anchorage's Jade Park. This land was once and operating gravel quarry and used to be owned by the State of Alaska but was sold to the city in 1968 and changed into the playground that it is today. The playground is a tot lot for kids from ages 2-5 and one of the little league ball diamonds is a large one and the other one is a small one.
