Shady Birch Park
Shady Birch Park is a small piece of urban green space located in Anchorage, Alaska. It is undeveloped and just under two acres in size. Central Alaska Utilities once operated this site as a well but the City of Anchorage purchased the land in 1972 and a decade after it's establishment local volunteers helped to develop the park's amenities. In 2003 and 2012 local volunteers including the girl scouts helped to even further improve the park's appearence.
