Newt Hinton Park

Welcome to Newt Hinton Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, home to the University of Alabama. All of the park's athletic fields are lighted and the Bobby Miller Activity Center has lots of indoor activities including a swimming pool, a rockwall, and a playground.

Tuscaloosa Alabama Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, climbing trees, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, smoking.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, picnicking, remote control aircraft, swimming.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 10 feet) and waste removed.

*All persons ages 5 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.

*All sales require special permit.
