Welcome to one of the smaller National Forest's in the United States, Alabama's Tuskegee National Forest. Come out and explore many miles of multipurpose trails.

Forest History: The history of Alabama's Tuskegee National Forest begins in the mid 1930's when some local leaders in Alabama started what was called the Tuskegee Project which was finally approved on October 8, 1935. This was a New Deal Project by FDR that converted lots of agricultural land back to a state of nature.
